Who Knew?

A laundry basket could be so much fun??

Zachary played with this basket for about a half hour :)

FINALLY!!

I finally figured out how to post more pictures. Not sure why it took me so long. Here are some pics from our backyard, at the farm and Mother's Day. Enjoy!

Our 15 Month Old Boy

Zachary turned 15 months old this week. Crazy! I feel like it was just yesterday that he was a tiny baby boy. Is he considered a toddler now? I'm not sure but he seems like one to me! I love it.

I tried posting pictures from our very first Mother's Day as a family of three but it wouldn't work. Not sure why. We had a perfect day. I was the luckiest mother around!

I just tried posting pictures again and it still isn't working. I'll look into it and hopefully get some downloaded soon.

The Best Mother's Day!

We had a great first Mother's Day together. Our day began with Chad waking up with Zachary at 6:30am. I got to sleep in until 8am. What a treat!! After breakfast, we headed to the zoo. It was a beautiful day and we were happy to be walking around outside, enjoying the weather. Zachary seemed to enjoy the animals that he saw. It's hard to tell what he knows are animals and what he does not. I think he knows more than what we give him credit for. After the zoo, we spent the afternoon at my parent's house where we had dinner. Zachary was in a great mood all afternoon. I couldn't have asked for a better first Mother's Day. It was perfect.

Zachary's first "real" haircut

Zachary at "school"

Zachary is taking a new class. It is set up just like a preschool and we love it! They have free play, do art projects, have snack, go outside and finish with circle time. It is at a local early intervention center very close to our house. It is fully integrated. For the children who qualify for early intervention, it is free. For those who do not (like Zachary), it is $5 per class. You can't beat that for two hours each class! He really enjoys being with the other children and exploring the classroom. I think his favorite parts are snack and circle. He eats like a champ and knows all of the songs we sing at circle. At the first class, he busted out of his seat to get in the middle of the circle in order to perform "The Wheels On The Bus, The Itsy Bitsy Spider and If You're Happy and You Know It!" The one time I didn't have my camera, of course. It was so funny. I (along with a few other moms) was crying because I was laughing so hard. The funniest part was when each song was over, he would clap and scream as loud as he could. He had a blast!!

I brought my camera to the second class but he did not perform as well. He still had fun. Enjoy the pics...
